UPDATE: Sea Giraffe won the contest. All that remains to be see is what sort of literature sea giraffes prefer. Do they like books written by humans, or do they prefer books written by Magic Dogs? Questions…questions…
Speaking of which, who, or what, is Sea Giraffe? Turns out it’s a new online literary magazine. Witness:
Sea Giraffe is an online literary magazine dedicated to publishing poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, and reviews. Our page is currently under construction, but we hope to have it finalized soon. We are currently accepting submissions, which can be sent in to us via our Submissions Manager.
Unsolicited submissions are accepted (especially since we don’t solicit submissions). Both unpublished and published authors are welcome; good writing is good writing, regardless of publishing history. Do not be shy to send us your work. If we love it, we’ll publish it. If we don’t, we will do our best to find the time to let you know why we didn’t accept your piece this time around.
So, folks, when’ you’re mulling over where to send your Latest and Greatest, don’t forget the Sea Giraffe. Again, thanks everyone for visiting and participating; we couldn’t do it without you.
The counter just clicked over–we’ve now officially had 1,000 visitors to the doghouse this month. Thanks so much, to all of you who took the time to stick your heads in. The next commenter gets the free book–okay…go!
