This is my house, and this is the front garden–birches, a maple, locust, evergreens, roses, irises, poppies, and salvia.
I walk around in my yard a lot. Occasionally I take my camera along, and sometimes, a book. Speaking of which: Past Lives, A Journey is still a free download today, and of course the blog book tour for The Corner Cafe: A Tasty Collection of Stories is still going strong. Today’s post is over at Shonell Bacon’s blog. Do go visit, once you’re done wandering in the garden!
The remainder of The Corner Cafe’s Blog Book Tour:
Wild rose, locust, and evergreens. The locust is being woven into an arch over the driveway–we’ve got about eighteen inches to go and it’ll be all the way. Once it’s established we’re going to plant wisteria and let it climb up and over. Locust and wisteria blossoms together should be amazing.
Lavender and lilies
The view from the front porch. The irises, roses, and valerian pretty much take care of themselves, except for weeding and the occasional hacking back.
